Darren has been a pilot for almost 20 years, flying across most of the country, from flying down the Hudson River or Nantucket, to flying up the California coast, to flying throughout the midwest and Great Plains. After a 20 year career as a professor, Darren has brought his passion for education and for aviation to the 1Vision Flight Academy, which is based on the Sioux City Gateway Airport. Darren works diligently with each student to meet the student where they are at and to bring them to where they want to be. Darren is also a dedicated member of Civil Air Patrol, serving as a Mission Pilot, Aerospace Education Officer, Orientation Pilot and Flight instructor.
