Samuel R. Robinson is a graduate from California State University Fresno in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Technology and Computer Management. While completing his BS he earned his Private Pilot license, Instrument rating, and multiple other endorsements. Commissioned a Second Lieutenant after graduation and completing initial Marine Officer training, he was given orders to Pensacola, Florida for Aviation Preflight Indoctrination.
After the completion of indoctrination training, basic and advanced flight school, he was winged a Naval Aviator on the 28th of May, 2010. He was also recognized for assignment to the Commodore’s List in flight and academic achievement during his training at flight school.
First Lieutenant Robinson received orders to the KC-130J training at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina and upon completion was assigned to VMGR-252. He completed two tours with VMGR-252, spanning over eight years. accumulating more than 2,600 total tim
