iFlightPlanner to Sunset 'Flight Wizard'

Monday, November 25, 2019 @ 8:00 AM

We're excited to share that we will be sunsetting our original, single-leg flight planning process (the Flight Wizard) and transition all members to the more versatile multi-leg Trip Manager on December 15, 2019 at 08:00Z!

The Trip Manager interface builds on the step-by-step Flight Wizard, ensuring every aspect of your flight, from interactive route and weather planning, the retrieval of certified weather briefs, weight & balance calculations, flight plan filing, and record keeping via your digital log book, is completed in sequential, efficient steps.

All personal settings, aircraft, and flights created via the Trip Manager will continue to automatically sync wirelessly with iFlightPlanner for iPad, currently available in the App Store.  Current iFlightPlanner members should point their browser to www.iFlightPlanner.com/My/Trips/Trip to access the all-new Trip Manager and www.iFlightPlanner.com/My/Settings to set it as their default planning interface prior to December 15.

Monday, November 11, 2019 @ 8:00 AM

In anticipation of the large number of aircraft operating to and from areas hosting major sporting and entertainment events, the FAA has published updated procedures in its November 7, 2019 NOTAM to enhance safety and minimize air traffic delays.

THESE PROCEDURES MAY BE REVISED OR UNAVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT.  PILOTS SHOULD CHECK NOTAMS AND TRAFFIC ADVISORIES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TO ENSURE THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION. THESE NOTAMS DO NOT SUPERCEDE RESTRICTIONS PERTAINING TO THE USE OF AIRSPACE CONTAINED IN FDC NOTAMS.
